Effective event coverage requires a range of images to tell the whole story.

Below are links to displays from different kinds of events I've been privileged to cover.

- Promotional Event -

- Large Public Event -

I love to cover Star Tribune events in the atrium of the Capella Tower. Having a mascot in the mix makes it even better!

The Back To The 50s hotrod gathering in St.Paul is one of the largest in the world and it's full of interesting people pouring their hearts and souls into their passion.

- Convention Coverage -

- Extended Exposition -

Leading Edge HR Network (LERHN) holds a major conference for Human Resources professionals annually and I have enjoyed documenting them three years running.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission asked for a graphic and colorful overview of their airports, from the ground and above.

- Gallery Opening -

- Theater Production -

For this assignment, I received the challenge of documenting the generally camera-shy photographers of the Star Tribune. They were celebrating the display of their favorite works from 2015 with friends and fans.

In the tiny Minnesota village of Marine on St. Croix, performers donate their talents to raise money for a cause and have an absolute gas!

- Sporting Event -

- Wedding Story -

What happens when the famous New Zealand All Blacks face the USA in front a sellout crowd at Soldier Field in Chicago? The US loses. But the sport of rugby in America wins! My job was to cover an overview of the event.

When a couple is looking for a casual, no-flash, no stress type of wedding coverage, my approach fits very well. This is the marriage of Maria and Andrew Day.
