| Each Labor Day Weekend, way up out of the way in Rollag, Minnesota, a dedicated group of folks put their mechanical passions on display for the rest of us to enjoy. Tractors and engines of all sorts chug and wheeze and belch fire and smoke just like they did when they were new. To walk through the gates of the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion is to walk back in time to simpler, harder days when these machines were revolutionary. I highly recommend that you make the pilgrimage to this event or one of the many others held throughout the country. To see the images in the show please click on the photos and you will advance through the show. My apologies to those with dial-up connections, I made the images large so they could be seen at their best. Enjoy, Max Haynes |
